About

Anne is a 20-something Web Design student based in northern California. Recently taken by a chronic illness which has rendered her mostly housebound, she has had a lot of time to research ways in which her health might be improved through diet and other lifestyle factors. Having many food and chemical sensitivities has been a largely trial-and-error process for what can be tolerated and what can't, and has resulted in many creative kitchen science experiments.

This blog is not meant to give any profound advice, but merely to document said kitchen-science. It is here to entertain, and to provide food related inspiration for anyone who is either going through the same, or just looking for healthy ideas in general. Anne's diet primarily combines knowledge of her own sensitivities, the advice of her doctors, a small collection of hippie nutrition books and a recipe blog she rather favors. Upon finding herself more willing to cook, and to tweet about everything she cooks, starting a blog seemed like the next logical step.

"What the f*ck are you eating?!" is a pretty legitimate question she gets from anyone who is around to see some of the strange concoctions she comes up with. The abbreviation (WTF) seemed more ideal since this is intended to be more work-safe than her other projects. Anne is not actually averse to cursing, but promises to keep it within the smaller printed text of the site.

Anne cooks to serve one because she doesn't know or live with anyone who eats the same way. She also rarely times or measures anything. All meats mentioned are free-range. Almost everything posted here will be organic, wheat-free, dairy-free, and self deprecating.
